Welcome

ARTISTS

    Rickey-Lee
is the owner of Diablo Ink, and did his tattoo apprenticeship with "Pops" Saller in San Pedro Ca. in 1991 while  serving in the U.S. Navy. He has tattooed from San Diego to Singapore, but returned home to settle in the East Bay. He is versed in all styles of tattooing from portraits and fine line black and grey, to bright traditional color.  His regular work schedule is Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu from noon until four.

Miss Jessie

started her tattooing carreer in 2006, and built it upon the formal art education she recieved at the Acadamy of Art, San Francisco. She enjoys putting her own twist on all styles and subject matter, but really loves anatomy and the human form,  especially female pin-ups. She is currently not working shop hours, *appointment only

We have been a fan of Sam's art for several years, and are excited to work with him!  He is accomplished in many mediums, from metalwork, to pottery, and fine art painting. But his mastery of graphic design, portraiture, and incorporation of geometric elements makes for a unique style of tattooing. His clean linework, and solid color make him more than capable of taking care of any of your tattoo needs.

Liana Hernandez

Liana started at Diablo Ink as our apprentice piercer. In the last few years she has become our lead piercer, as well as the all around shop manager.

Liana has been diligently honing her drawing skills since coming into the shop, with a passion for cute, quirky, and sometimes dark traditional designs. Last year she started her tattooing apprenticeship! Follow her Instagram for apprentice tattoo specials!

B is a graduate of  UC Berkeley's art program, he has used that formal education in art, along with a lifetime as an artist, to develop his uniquely bold, graphic, and often " dark" style of body art. His grasp of clean linework, and smooth shading, along with his intuition and patience  in the design process, make working  with him a pleasure for his clients.

AFTERCARE

 Piercing Aftercare-

  • Carefully wash around piercing area once a day with liquid antibacterial soap for as long as you have your piercing. (not necessary for tongue piercings)

  • There is no need to rotate jewelry during cleaning.

  • For the first week use a sea salt soak to help clean out dead skin cells. Dilute 1/2-3/4 a teaspoon of sea salt in a small cup of very warm water. Cup it around the piercing and let it soak for 1-2 minutes.

  • keep makeup off all facial piercings.

  • Navels/Nipples: Wear loose-fitting clothing during healing. (3-4 weeks)

  • Oral piercings: Use listerine diluted with water after eating, drinking, or smoking for the first month.

  • Tongues: Keep ice on the tongue throughout the first day after you have been pierced. Take an ibuprofen now, and before going to bed tonight. Sleep with two pillows to keep your head above your heart. This will keep swelling to a minimum.

  • KEEP HANDS OFF

Tattoo Aftercare-

  • Remove bandage once you're in a clean environment.

  • Wash tattoo with non scented soap. (twice daily)

  • On the 3rd day use light amount of non scented lotion. (two or three times daily)

  • Keep tattoo out of direct sunlight and do not submerge tattoo in water.

  • DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH!

  • Do not listen to "tattoo experts" you meet in bars, and on street corners.

  • Follow these SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS.
